**UW Medicine Transplant Department** has an outstanding opportunity for an **Assistant Nurse Manager/RN3 Pre-Liver Transplant** .
WORK SCHEDULE
100% FTE
Monday-Friday
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The nurse provides case management for pre liver transplant patients, including inpatient discharge teaching/coordination. The majority of the pre liver transplant patients are followed on an annual basis in the transplant clinic. The RN also must ensure that immune-suppression drug levels are managed daily, plus triage patient symptom phone calls, EPIC Inbasket, eCare messages and multiple prescription refills. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a multi-disciplinary team, caring for complex patients.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement unit policies and procedures
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
• Assist with performance evaluations and recruitment
Monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinate patient care, including admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Address patient and family concerns and provide excellent customer service
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a clinical resource for staff
Provide training and direction to new employees
Foster a positive work environment and promote staff development
families, departmental and hospital staff
REQUIREMENTS
BSN and at least two years Acute Care Nursing
Knowledge of Liver Transplant experience
Supervisory and/or Charge Nurse Experience Desired

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$98,448.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$178,824.00 annual
Other Compensation:
$10,000 Sign On Bonus
$4.50/hr night shift differential
$4.00/hr weekend shift differential
$2.50/hour evening differential
$1.00/hr BSN premium
$1.25/hr Nursing Certification
