    Are you interested in supporting adults as they work toward greater independence and stability? Join our Residential Support team, where your guidance and reliability make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intensive mental health needs.

     

    As a team member in a small, licensed residential care home, you’ll provide day-to-day support in a structured, 24/7 environment with nursing oversight. You’ll assist with meal planning, vocational activities, medication routines, treatment and recovery planning, and appointments—helping residents build skills and confidence in a supportive setting. Whether you’re starting your career in residential services or looking to expand your experience, we provide training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow while making a meaningful impact every day.

    Qualifications:

    + B.A. In psychology or Human Services preferred.

    + Previous work with psychiatric population is desirable.

    + Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and own reliable transportation.

    + Must be able to pass a criminal background checks.

    Compensation and benefits: This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $20.05/hr. and excellent benefits, including tuition reimbursement/student loan assistance; generous paid time off; employer-sponsored health, dental, life, and disability insurances; and a 403(b)-retirement plan with employer match.

    Single Steps:

    A Montpelier-based, 8-bed transitional group home supporting individuals in recovery and skill-building for independent living. Staff provide 24/7 guidance, social and vocational support, and access to medical and therapeutic services.

    Segue House:

    A 7-bed downtown Montpelier residence offering transitional, recovery-focused support for individuals with mental health and substance use challenges. Staff assist residents with daily routines, life skills, and individualized treatment goals.

    Road House:

    A 3-bed Barre residential home providing long-term, 24/7 support for individuals needing assistance with daily living, recovery planning, and medical oversight. Staff help with meals, appointments, and emotional and vocational supports.

    Chrysalis House:

    A 2-bed Waterbury home offering 24/7 support for individuals working toward greater independence. Staff assist with daily living, recovery planning, appointments, and skill-building.

    Moody Court:

    Independent apartments adjacent to Chrysalis House, supporting up to four residents with recovery and daily living needs. Staff provide 24/7 assistance with medication, social skills, and community-based support while promoting autonomy.

     

    All programs will have schedules that include shifts in normal business hours, evening hours and asleep overnight hours.
