Location Description
Post Consumer Brands in Jonesboro, Ark. is home to more than 200 team members. Jonesboro may be a smaller town, but it has a strong performing arts scene, multiple schools, and a diverse geography with sports and outdoor recreation opportunities for everyone. The Post Jonesboro team supports the community through food pantry volunteering and an annual toy drive during the holiday season.
Responsibilities
Are you ready to champion a culture of growth and learning at our manufacturing site in Jonesboro, AR? Join us as a Learning & Development (L&D) Business Partner and help drive employee success by designing, delivering, and managing impactful skill-based training programs for our team.
As the site-level L&D lead, you’ll partner with leaders and employees to build a strong learning culture, manage training initiatives, and leverage technology to support ongoing development. Your expertise will ensure our workforce is skilled, engaged, and ready to meet business challenges
What You’ll Do
+ Serve as the site’s learning and development champion, partnering with leaders to prioritize and resource employee development and foster a strong learning culture.
+ Build connections across shifts and facilitate effective communication; regularsupport off-shift training (including someevenings, holidays/weekends).
+ Build and coordinateleadership development programs thatbuild problem-solving tools and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Go See Think Do, 8-Step Problem Solving, 5S).
+ Collaborate with central L&D and HR to identify training needs, develop onboarding programs, and design engaging content that drives retention.
+ Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and Operations teams to drive key learning and development priorities that improvesoperational performance.
+ Implement train-the-trainer models and ensure trainers are equipped to deliver high-quality coaching and instruction.
+ Build and manage the annual training calendar, coordinate logistics, and oversee program rollouts.
+ Administer the site’s learning management system (SumTotal) and Redzone Learning Module; track training metrics, provide reporting to leadership, and support audits.
+ Make content edits using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate) as needed.
+ Gather and analyze training data to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and progress against goals.
+ Lead cross-functional teams andsteering committee to drive continuous improvement, close skill gaps, and champion Standard Work initiatives.
+ Actively participates in and contributes to Post’s Learning and Development community of practice. Stays up to date on emerging trends in Learning and Development, actively engages in continuing education.
Qualifications
Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
+ 4+ years of experience in learning & development, training, or education roles (manufacturing experience a plus)
+ Skilled facilitator with expertise in adult learning principles,
+ Skilledperformance consultant, and content developer
+ Proficient in LMS administration, and Microsoft Office Suite
+ Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills
+ Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
+ Occasional travel (up to 10%)
Preferred
+ Prior experience in manufacturing or unionized environments
+ Experience with Redzone manufacturing software, e-learning tools and on-the-plant floor training, coaching, and performance consulting
+ Ability to program manage multiple projects concurrently
+ Experience in change managementmodels
+ Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Go See Think Do, 5S, 8-Step Problem Solving)
