Why should you consider a position as an Accounts Payable Clerk?

+ 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

+ $24.00 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

_Other duties may be assigned._

+ Verify and match Purchase Orders, Packing Slips, and Invoices.

+ Prepare invoice deduction notices as needed.

+ Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries.

+ Process payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.

+ Print accounts payable reports and maintain organized AP files.

+ Prepare account analyses as required.

+ Assist with special projects and audit-related tasks.

+ Coordinate purging and transferring files in accordance with the record retention policy.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; **or** 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; **or** equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.

+ High integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.

+ Ability to remain focused and productive in a busy environment with frequent distractions.

+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

+ Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

+ Ability to create and interpret bar graphs.

+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

+ SAP experience is a plus, but not required.

+ Quiet office environment.
