We are seeking a skilled **Press Operator** to join our diverse and dynamic team in **Louisville, KY** . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plate‑forming equipment, ensuring optimal setup and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.

• Demonstrates a commitment to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. Follows safety regulations and actively contributes to work safety.

• Follows all standard work, control plans, all processes, and quality guidelines

• Setting up, operating and dismantling of tools to support product mix changes and requirements

• Demonstrates flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments.

• Maintains cooperative and productive working relationships and communications with all employees, participating effectively as a team member or as a team leader. Encourages and assists in self-improvement.

• Verifies dimension and alignment of pressed parts, and performs surface and physical inspections, visually.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

• High school diploma/(GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
