• This job is a member of the B2B Marketing & Communications team within Global Engagement.
• In this highly visible role and team, you’re responsible for developing, project managing, and delivering end-to-end marketing strategies and execution plans reaching internal and external (B2B, B2C and B2B2C) audiences.

• Builds and executes end-to-end strategies for how we engage with American's Global Sales customers via marketing and communications tactics within B2B and B2C channels.
• Understands current marketing and B2B/B2C/B2B2C consumer behavior trends, and key strategic needs of our entire Sales ecosystem - including small/medium-sized businesses, larger corporate, agency accounts, business travelers and direct consumers.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with key stakeholders in other departments, including Global Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis, Network Planning, Partnerships, Customer Experience, Loyalty, among others.
• Interacts directly with industry and American's B2B channels/customers - to understand needs and/or promote innovation in this space.
• Uses operational knowledge and technology to effectively engage and communicate in a 1-to-many B2B and B2C environments.
• Engages in strategic marketing and delivers a well-thought-out communication plan, including multiple B2B and B2C touchpoints.
• Understands business travel from many audiences’ points of view, with the ability to articulate the value of travel, segmenting audiences, and delivering targeted messaging that resonates with B2B, B2C and B2B2C audiences.
• Responsible for measuring performance of marketing campaigns, and optimization, using analytical tools.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training.
+ 3 years of marketing/communications experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Experience in the airline industry, field sales, loyalty programs, creative production, B2B/ B2B2C marketing
+ Experience with marketing analytics, and tracking channel/mktg performance
+ Experience in activating lead generation and acquisition marketing campaigns
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• Knowledge of the airline industry, Global Sales & Distribution channels, B2B consumer behavior, modern customer engagement, and marketing techniques.
• Ability to prioritize requests, simultaneous project management, and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to execute deliverables in a timely and detail-oriented fashion.
• Capable of project managing cross-functional projects and seeing through deliverables from conception to delivery; confidence in presenting recommendations and executive-level updates/summaries to senior leadership.
• Strong grasp of proper syntax and effective tone-of-voice messaging style(s) - dependent on audience and deliverable needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires high-level of collaboration across departments.
