Introduction

Your role and responsibilities

SAP ABAP Application Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US:

* Engage in the development and enhancement of complex interactive ABAP reports, custom ABAP tools, workflows, SECATT scripts, LSMW, BADI implementations, and Business Transaction Events (BTEs).

* Leverage object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

* Participate in creating comprehensive workflows for document approvals and IDoc error reporting.

* Manage inbound and outbound processing of electronic bank statements, payment and acknowledgment files, treasury transactions, exchange rate files, Lockbox files, monthly finance files, inventory reconciliation processes, and open order data.

* Use SAP jobs through scheduled AUTOSYS while collaborating with middleware teams such as TIBCO, EDI, and MQFTE to resolve issues.

* Tackle challenges within the SAP SRM portal, optimize Shopping Cart creation, and craft WebDynpro developments.

* Serve as the point of contact for Kernel, Paymentric, Cadency, Vertex, MODELN, SOLMAN, and TIBCO upgrades.

* Analyze system performance, address ST22 short dumps, monitor tRFC queues, lock entries, and long-running work processes to ensure operational excellence.

* Design and implement the inbound processing for sales orders, PGI, shipment creation, material document posting, accounting document posting, and warehouse transactions for material movement, and purchasing documents using standard and custom IDocs.

* Develop ZEBRA labels and output forms using SAPscript, Adobe Forms, and SmartForms.

* Design and develop Fiori applications using ABAP backend services.

* Analyze and optimize ABAP programs for performance improvements.

* Monitor XI PI messages, customizing proxy messages and developing PI solutions for secure data transfer while also preparing for disaster recovery scenarios.

* Participate in decision making during critical production issues.

* Utilize: SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) on HANA, SAP Workflow, SAP Exchange Infrastructure / Process Integration (XI/PI), SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Service Now, AutoSys Workload Automation.

Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Application Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) on HANA, SAP Workflow, SAP Exchange Infrastructure / Process Integration (XI/PI), SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Service Now, AutoSys Workload Automation. $150550 to $197400 per year. Required technical and professional expertise
