    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    + Selects, trains and evaluates staff; Establishes and maintains department staffing and schedules, ensuring appropriate number of qualified/competent staff are available while maintaining cost effective staffing mixes and patterns; Ensures staff maintain facility with a high level of cleanliness and that department guidelines are followed

    + Monitors bed discharge cleaning needs and ensures that discharge beds are cleaned in a timely manner and with a high degree of quality; Monitors daily equipment use, cleaning and maintenance to ensure that all equipment is maintained in an appropriate working condition

    + Maintains department quality improvement program and oversees the quality of service delivered ensuring that units are survey ready at all times

    + Supervises the departmental inventory and allocation of resources as appropriate and ensures these follow hospital guidelines

    Job Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    + Associate’s Degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience

    + Minimum three (3) years environmental services experience

    $36.00 - $43.77 /hour
