• Senior CNC Machinist Lead

    Our client, a leading distributor within the plastic manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist Lead to join their team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. In this role, you will support the manufacturing department and play a key part in guiding a high-performing team.     **Job Title:** Senior CNC Machinist Lead (Direct Hire)

    **Location:** Orchard Park, NY

    **Pay Range:** $70K–$74K

    **Shift:** 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 4:00pm–2:30am

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Program, set up, and operate CNC machines within the assigned area.

    + Use inspection tools to verify tolerances and ensure all quality standards are met.

    + Monitor production output while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

    + Assign tasks and equipment to team members and manage smooth shift transitions.

    + Train, mentor, and develop team members through coaching and process improvements.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of five years of CNC machining experience, including programming and operation.

    + Previous supervisory experience leading a team.

    + CNC machine certification is a plus.

    + Previous supervisory experience leading a team.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
