Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a **Maintenance Technician** to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Alexandria, MN

**Pay Range:** $23+/hour

**Shift:** Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 pm - 6:30 am

What's the Job?

+ Respond safely and efficiently to maintenance and repair needs of equipment and machinery

+ Ensure safety is prioritized by following all safety programs and promoting a safety-oriented culture

+ Coordinate and schedule repairs with the area supervisor and communicate repair schedules to affected team members

+ Troubleshoot, plan, and execute repairs, locating and preparing parts as needed

+ Document all repairs thoroughly and develop preventative maintenance procedures and schedules

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in Mechatronics, Automotive, Diesel Mechanics, or related fields preferred

+ 3+ years of maintenance-related experience in machine repair, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing, or related areas

+ Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and computer numerical control (CNC) is helpful

+ Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

+ Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to support and train team members
