Our client is seeking a passionate and proactive Community & Engagement Specialist to join their team. As a Community & Engagement Specialist, you will be part of the Community Management department supporting the Community Engagement team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong community management experience, and a creative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Community & Engagement Specialist

**Location:** Austin, TX

What's the Job?

+ Oversee the daily operations of the gaming community Discord, ensuring respectful and inclusive conversations.

+ Plan and execute engaging community activities such as polls, AMAs, watch parties, and themed events.

+ Identify and recognize active community members to foster ongoing positive contributions.

+ Manage and support a team of volunteer moderators, guiding decision-making and enforcing community guidelines.

+ Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to develop integrated community activation strategies.

What's Needed?

+ Experience in community strategy, moderation, and content drafting/publishing.

+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage volunteer teams effectively.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

+ Ability to develop innovative strategies to enhance community engagement.

+ Knowledge of Discord platform features and best practices for community management.
