Our client, a global leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing, is seeking a **Research & Development Engineer** to join their team. As a Research & Development Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting process development and prototype build teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Research & Development Engineer

**Location:** Minneapolis, MN

**Pay Range:** $55/hour

What’s the Job?

+ Evaluate designs for manufacturability improvements and implement changes

+ Develop robust processes that drive product and business goals

+ Test products and analyze results

+ Perform failure analysis using formal processes and communicate findings

+ Create documentation and communicate status to leadership

What’s Needed?

+ Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering)

+ Minimum 1.5 years of professional experience

+ Ability to obtain a secret clearance

+ U.S. Citizenship required

+ Proficiency in design tools (MiniTab, Access, MS Office Suite)
