You will work as a Software Development Engineer in the Hospital Patient Monitoring Team, and you will be working in an Agile environment responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for our new Real-time Patient Monitoring platform using technologies including .NET Framework, C#, React, GraphQL, Postgres, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Your role:
+ Develop software in a highly motivated software development team focused on the creation of our next generation patient monitoring systems.
+ Translate user requirements into innovative solutions using the latest technology.
+ Write clear specifications, create detailed technical designs, and implement creative software solutions.
+ Review code and provide technical feedback and direction.
+ Design and develop software components considering elasticity, scalability, reliability, interoperability, security, serviceability & networking needs.
+ Deliver software modules and components meeting the requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
You're the right fit if:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related technology.
+ Ability to architect, design, code, and test complex solutions and possess solid understanding of object-oriented software development concepts and methodologies.
+ 3+ years of strong working experience with C#, Microsoft .NET development expertise.
+ Familiar with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub.
+ Experience with cloud services: AWS

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in (Cambridge, MA) is $126,000 to $201,600.00
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.Details about our benefits can be found here.
At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
