    Our client, a leading organization in the legal and financial sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Legal Operations Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a vital member of the Operations Finance team supporting the General Counsels Organization, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful legal and financial processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will enable you to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

     

    Role: Senior Legal Operations Analyst

     

    Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension/conversion

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Manage and report on outside counsel budgets using Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker, ensuring financial controls are maintained.

    + Screen and process outside counsel invoices, communicating with law firms to resolve discrepancies and enforce billing policies.

    + Prepare detailed reports tracking outside counsel expenses and support budget planning exercises.

    + Assist with legal loss reporting and quarter- and year-end financial processes, including accruals and budget forecasts.

    + Collaborate with legal and operational teams to implement new tools and process improvements, enhancing reporting and automation capabilities.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.

    + 5-7 years of experience in finance, legal operations, or analytical roles.

    + Strong data manipulation skills and proficiency with database tools.

    + Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.

    + Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail.
