As a **Security Officer - Industrial Patrol** in **Waterloo, IA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming environment through excellent customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to meet AU driver policy requirements while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for any suspicious activity or hazards throughout the location, reporting observations as required by site protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and contractors while upholding Allied Universal standards.

+ Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points, and verifying credentials as needed.

+ Document and report all security-related incidents and/or irregularities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
