What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the financial institution location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, clients, and visitors.

+ Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.

+ Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed in the event of an incident.

+ Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Utilize conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques as needed during interactions with individuals on the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
