As a **Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrols** in **Boyertown, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting any concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the chemical or petrochemical environment.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to site protocols.

+ Assist with access control procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors as required by site policies.

+ Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

+ Support emergency response efforts as directed by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
