Position Details:
+ **Schedule:** Sunday- Thursday 11pm-8am
+ **Compensation:** $22/hour
+ CDL-A Required
Position Purpose:
Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers!
As the Transportation Coordinator, you will take orders from request to reality, in an environment where you’ll feel and create a culture of safety and family. You will support the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes performing administrative tasks such as maintaining documents, directing incoming calls, providing reports, and supporting a variety of other functions to ensure that the transportation team is providing Core-Mark customers with exceptional service and quality.
**Primary Responsibilities:** The Transportation Coordinator supports the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes tracking, calculating, and coordinating a variety of driver and route information along with performing administrative tasks.
Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
+ Assisting with the dispatching of drivers and notifying customers on route changes.
+ Answering incoming calls from customers, drivers, and internal departments.
+ Maintaining all DOT required files and other reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, and mileage).
+ Inputting data into our computer system and generate reports as needed.
+ Monitoring documentation for renewals such as drivers, licenses, and medical cards.
+ Coordinating aspects of the hiring process, such as pre-employment testing and paperwork.
+ Assisting with the processing of driver payroll.
+ Assisting in routes as needed
+ Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 1-3 years in a transportation, warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Administrative support performing strong math and computer data entry skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Department of Transportation regulations
• CDL-A holder
• Pass post offer DOT drug test, physical and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years foodservice distribution industry experience
• Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e., PeopleNet)
• Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e., POD)
• Experience with SAP and/or AS400 or the ability to learn to use these programs.
• Computer proficient with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
• Customer service-related work experience
