    As a **Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver FT Days** in **Lexington Park, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within financial institution locations. In this armed and driving role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication.     What You'll Do:

    + Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors at financial institution locations.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

    + Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.

    + Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and local authorities as required for security-related matters.

    + Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.

    + Follow emergency response protocols and provide support during emergency situations, such as evacuations or medical incidents.

    + Maintain a professional demeanor while carrying out armed patrol duties, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
