What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations at the retail location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or potential risks within the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying authorization of individuals as needed, and helping to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.

+ Provide support during emergency situations, such as evacuations or medical incidents, following established protocols and communicating with emergency services if necessary.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
