As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.

+ Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the location, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to alarms and/or emergencies according to established protocols, supporting emergency response activities as needed.

+ Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client representatives.

+ Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a helpful and professional demeanor at all times.

+ Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter violations and maintain order within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Experience working at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
