We are seeking an experienced **Pressure Vessel Engineer** to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on role responsible for designing, drafting, and performing engineering calculations for pressure vessels and aboveground storage tanks in compliance with ASME, API, AWWA, and NFPA codes. If you have strong technical expertise, practical fabrication knowledge, and a passion for engineering excellence, we want to hear from you.
**Location:** Kennerdell, PA
**Salary Range:** $130,000 - $130,000/annually

What You’ll Do
+ Perform and review detailed engineering calculations for pressure vessels and storage tanks
+ Create design drawings, 3D models, and fabrication packages using AutoCAD and Inventor
+ Prepare and review fabrication and assembly procedures to ensure compliance with codes and customer specifications
+ Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, drafters, and fabrication teams
+ Collaborate with clients, inspectors, and vendors to ensure technical accuracy and code compliance
+ Support fabrication and field crews with design clarifications and troubleshooting
+ Stay current on industry codes, standards, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (required)
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in pressure vessel and/or aboveground storage tank design
+ Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API 650/653/620, AWWA D100, and NFPA standards
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and MathCAD (or equivalent engineering software)
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with 3D CAD workflows, TechnoSoft, and parametric design tools
+ Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and shop operations
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, code-compliant designs
