Adecco Medical & Science is hiring remote Clinical Administrative Assistants.

**Type:** Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire
Shift:** Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6PM **Mountain Time Zone
**Pay:** $21 to $23/hr
Responsibilities Include:
• Verify eligibility of providers and members for all authorization requests.
• Input and prepare Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder authorizations across all lines of business, assigning cases to the appropriate Clinical Coordinator.
• Refer members to the Care Coordination Department when completing discharge documentation to support aftercare planning.
• Notify providers of authorization determinations and coordinate peer-to-peer consultations when cases do not meet criteria.
• Draft denial letters outlining decisions, rationale, and alternative treatment options.
• Assist callers routed to the Behavioral Health Utilization Management department and resolve escalated inquiries.
• Complete required trainings on MCG, ASAM, and InterQual criteria to ensure compliance with NCQA audit requirements.
• Update and maintain job aids; correct errors found in internal reports.
• Perform all duties safely and professionally; other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements Include:
• High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• 2+ years of experience analyzing and resolving customer problems.
• 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• 2+ years of experience with medical or behavioral health terminology.
• Intermediate computer proficiency, including electronic clinical records, email, calendaring, and data entry.
• Ability to work a Mountain Time Zone schedule.

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
