To continue laying the groundwork and challenge what's possible for our business, we seek to partner with individuals ready to elevate their careers with us. *Work Arrangement:* On-Site *Why Join Crowley:* This opportunity offers the chance to make a difference by partnering with the US Navy and contributing to our nation's growth and defense. ** *What You'll Do:* Responsible for maintaining overall inventory control of vessel fleet spares within a warehouse including taking receipt of incoming spares and coordinating outgoing shipments as needed to support vessel operations. Prepare, package, and coordinate shipment of assets in compliance with company standards. Ensure accuracy of on-hand inventory through regular checks and audits. Correct and maintain asset identification details in the system. *Key Responsibilities:* · Establish and execute a property control plan for military vessels fleet spares located in a warehouse. · Manage and support the parts and material requirements and monitor inventory of parts. · Ensure parts are maintained in good condition and provide recommendations and coordination of any required long-term preservation requirements. · Monitor lifecycle management of movable assets for the entire assigned fleet. · Ensure the care and control of government property is compliant, within regulations and the allocated budget. · Manage property in conjunction with Property Administrators chief engineers and storekeepers by using various supply management software systems such as CMLS, SHIPCLIP, and LOGIQUEST. · Audit warehouse inventory on a frequent basis (schedules to be created) to validate assets. · Coordinate timely delivery of spares and materials for overhauls and repair periods. *Education & Credentials:* · Associate’s degree in business/related field or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. *Experience:* · 3 – 5 years’ experience with property management, asset management and US Navy or other military supply systems.** *Technical Skills:* · Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. · Proficient in establishing and implementing a property control plan.** *Working Conditions:* Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders.
