Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking a task-oriented, results-driven Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead the field operations for a church construction project in Westfield, IN. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, critical thinker, and tech-savvy leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

+ Oversee daily field operations and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

+ Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

+ Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and schedules.

+ Collaborate with the Project Manager as an equal partner to resolve issues and drive project success.

+ Conduct regular site meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

+ Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to design and construction standards.

+ Utilize construction management software and digital tools for documentation and reporting.

+ Identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently to keep the project on track.

+ Foster a positive team environment and lead by example with a strong work ethic and attitude.

+ Perform progress meetings with key stakeholders.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.

+ Strong leadership and communication skills.

+ Proficient with construction management platforms and scheduling software.

+ Critical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

+ Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

+ Positive attitude and desire to grow professionally.

+ Experience managing projects of $5+ million.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Procore and Bluebeam.

+ Client-facing relationship skills.

+ Experience in site work and site development.

Work Environment

This position requires field presence five days a week, with working hours ranging from 45 to 50 hours per week and occasional Saturdays as needed. The role involves using technologies such as MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including annual incentive bonuses, vehicle reimbursement up to $865 per month, and a company truck with a fuel card after one year. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
