Job Title: Distribution Construction Coordinator
Must have power distribution/utility construction project coordination
Job Description
Coordinate project tasks and liaise with multiple parties, both internal and external, for contractor resources on their work assignments to ensure an efficient construction or restoration process. Update the status of construction and restoration activities in appropriate systems to ensure accurate records. Ensure safe, quality, timely, and efficient construction and restoration of distribution project tasks and events performed by contractor resources.
Responsibilities
+ Complete and submit Contractor Performance Evaluations to ensure safety compliance, adherence to Electric Delivery standards of construction, job site restoration, and completeness of construction records received from contract resources.
+ Participate in project meetings, including pre-construction, during construction, and post-construction with internal and external parties, including design personnel, managers, vegetation management, city officials, third-party contractors, developers, and customers.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations associated with construction activities.
+ Verify construction practices comply with all prescribed ordinances, company policies, and governmental regulations.
+ Obtain necessary holds, clearances, and switching orders as required.
+ Ensure proper disposition of distribution records, including As-Built information, phase identification, and mainline device identifiers.
+ Manage company assets responsibly.
+ Timely and accurate management of supportive documents.
+ Verify accuracy and correct accounting on contractor invoices, including O&M vs. Capital and proper tax status.
+ Ensure proper accounting for material and equipment.
+ Be available for routine 'On Call' rotation and emergency restoration situations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to travel to Sweetwater, Texas, and potentially East Texas.
+ Ideally located in Arlington, Texas.
+ Eligible for per diem.
+ Experience with GPS and NESC.
+ Knowledge of distribution engineering and aerial techniques.
Work Environment
Travel is primarily regional to the utility client's territory during the business day, with overnight travel expected. Work in pairs for some projects, utilizing side-by-sides for data collection in rural areas. Work week is typically Sunday to Friday, with travel on Sunday and Friday and work from Monday to Thursday. Take-home vehicles are provided for travel purposes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
