    Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer

     

    + Define and optimize production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards

    + Develop and maintain documentation for production support, data collection, and process improvements

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to approve new product designs, tooling, and processes for production readiness

    + Coordinate and attend tooling tryouts at vendor and manufacturing facilities, ensuring successful implementation

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, scrap minimization, and overall efficiency, utilizing lean and synchronous manufacturing techniques

    + Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Fanuc robotic systems for automated processes, ensuring reliability and precision

    + Support procurement coordination by communicating tooling and part requirements to purchasing for timely delivery

    + Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for cost-saving improvements

    + Maintain and track open items for new product launches and process changes

    + Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and vendors in resolving installation and maintenance issues

    + Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a positive, productive work environment

     

    Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline

    + 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)

    + Hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics programming and troubleshooting

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cycle time optimization and scrap reduction

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SolidWorks

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position requires working onsite, ensuring a collaborative and hands-on approach to manufacturing processes.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
