Job Title: CAD CoordinatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Coordinator with 7-10 years of experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D software. The role involves taking survey data and implementing it into Civil 3D software for the generation of survey site plans. You will be responsible for producing survey and engineering-related drawings, including boundary and topography surveys, ALTA/ACSM surveys, construction stakeout, and utility as-builts projects. This position also requires maintaining and developing CAD standards for multiple divisions within the office.

Responsibilities

+ Participate in every aspect of plan preparation and production.

+ Maintain current CAD standards and develop additional standards as necessary.

+ Develop CAD and software policy and procedures.

+ Manage and update AutoCAD styles and databases.

+ Troubleshoot software issues.

+ Review base models and surfaces to resolve inaccuracies or missing features.

+ Train staff to increase their knowledge of additional products.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D with 7-10 years of experience.

+ Ability to implement survey data into Civil 3D software.

+ Experience in survey site plan generation, topography, and land surveying.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with robotic instruments, drones, and laser scanners.

+ Familiarity with LICA Cloudworks & Cyclone, Tremble Business Center, and Drone Deploy software is preferred.

+ Experience with land development, title search, and construction stakeout.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in the Hillsborough, NJ office, where you will work with a highly collaborative team. The standard work hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to choose an 8-hour shift within a 6 AM to 6 PM window. After six months, a hybrid work schedule allows you to work two days from home. The role is computer-based, with no fieldwork involved. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsborough, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
