Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent who will be responsible for monitoring production, scheduling, and performance. The ideal candidate will assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager and conduct safety audits. This role involves ensuring that contractors complete work on schedule while addressing any warranty issues and maintaining high safety and accountability standards. The Superintendent will also be responsible for certifying that all submittals comply with contract requirements and reviewing plans and specifications to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

+ Monitor production, scheduling, and performance.

+ Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager.

+ Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations.

+ Ensure contractors complete work on schedule and address warranty issues.

+ Communicate daily project status to the Project Manager to ensure timely and standard-compliant project completion.

+ Maintain 100% 'Safety Standards and Accountability' in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements.

+ Take necessary action when behaviors or conditions may be unsafe.

+ Report and address all potential safety concerns, incidents, and issues promptly.

+ Certify that all submittals comply with contract requirements.

+ Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance for each construction process.

+ Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications.

+ Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken to minimize or eliminate recurrence of problems.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in concrete construction.

+ Industrial and commercial project experience.

+ 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent, including 2+ years as a concrete superintendent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in construction supervision and management.

+ Knowledge of safety standards and practices.

Work Environment

The work environment involves industrial and commercial construction settings where safety standards are of utmost importance. The Superintendent will work closely with contractors and project managers to ensure project specifications and timelines are met. Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are essential in this role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Plain City, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Full medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401k. Willing to do relocation package and/or sign on bonus.

This is a fully onsite position in Plain City,OH.
