Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Description
The Medical Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for patients and guests at the primary care office. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming environment and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities
+ Greet patients and guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
+ Provide patient care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
+ Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
+ Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize patient flow.
+ Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information.
+ Communicate effectively with patients, providing excellent customer service.
+ Collaborate with physicians and medical assistants in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Skills
+ Medical assisting experience of 3-5 years.
+ Strong phlebotomy skills.
+ Knowledge of medical terminology.
+ Experience with electronic health records.
+ Customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Certified Medical Assistant - preferred but not required.
+ Experience with eCW EMR is preferred.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
+ Ability to take initiative and work independently.
+ Organizational skills.
+ Team player with flexibility.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wellington, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
