    Job Title: Laboratory Technician

    Description:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role involves supporting chemists in daily operations and ensuring accurate and timely sample analysis. The ideal candidate will thrive in a production environment and demonstrate strong decision-making skills while adhering to established SOPs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare samples for analysis

    + Assist chemists with routine and specialized tasks

    + Perform titrations and liquid extractions

    + Conduct weight difference measurements

    + Maintain accurate records in LIMS and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols

    Required Skills:

    + Experience in a production environment

    + Strong decision-making skills

    + Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

    + Knowledge of laboratory practices and chemistry fundamentals

    + Proficiency in sample preparation techniques

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + B.S. in a life science

    + Completion of undergraduate courses in chemistry, biochemistry, or organic chemistry

    + Proven ability to follow SOPs

    + Nice to Have: 1+ years of laboratory experience

    Experience Level:

    Intermediate

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW ORLEANS, LA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
