    A growing architecture firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality design solutions seeks a Licensed Architect to join their Idaho team. This firm is expanding its team to support long-term strategic growth, following recent wins on multiple large-scale Department of Defense (DoD) and public sector projects, including manufacturing facilities, testing laboratories, and fire stations.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead architectural teams through all phases of design and documentation, ensuring alignment with project goals, client expectations, and federal standards.

    + Oversee production work in Revit from schematic design through construction documents, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, facilitating clear communication, managing expectations, and building long-term relationships.

    + Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and proactively address risks or delays.

    + Mentor junior staff, coordinate with consultants and engineers, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

    + Ensure all deliverables meet applicable codes, DoD criteria, and federal agency requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed Architect with proficiency in Revit.

    + Experience in government and municipal facilities.

    + Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deadlines.

    + Experience with construction documents.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Design Development, SketchUp, and Schematic Design.

    + Experience with architectural drawing, architectural planning, and architecture project management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

    + Architectural License.

    + 7-10 years of architectural design experience for federal, mixed-use, or commercial projects.

    + Exposure to managing budgets, deadlines, and schedules.

    + Experience mentoring junior architects.

    + 5+ years of experience working on construction documents.

    Work Environment

    Work in an office setting with 2-3 additional team members. The work schedule includes in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday. The workweek consists of four 9-hour days and a half-day on Friday, with work hours from 7 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 6 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moscow, ID.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $55.28/hr.
