Are you up for the challenge in supporting one of the largest wastewater collection and treatment systems in the South? As a valued member of our team, you will have the chance to support a long-term client by assisting in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of a wastewater collection system consisting of over 500 pump stations, 2,000 miles of pipe, and 50,000 manholes.
In a dynamic working environment, you'll gain experience working on preparing engineering reports, inspecting construction projects, and supporting the design and maintenance of wastewater treatment collection systems and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with design and planning: Help design, prepare, and oversee plans for wastewater systems.
• Conducting field work: Perform site investigations and inspections to ensure projects comply with plans and specifications.
• Data analysis: Analyze field survey data and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Project support: Assist senior engineers with various tasks, including cost and material estimates, and preparing bid contract documents.
• Compliance and maintenance: Aid in ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Report and document preparation: Prepare clear and concise records, reports, and correspondence related to projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis on water resources
• Strong oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, data analysis & technical problem solving skills.
• Top notch organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be posted for at least 3 days.
