• Financial Project Manager

    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Manager to lead and execute critical financial initiatives within our oil and gas operations. This role will focus on managing complex financial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

    Requirements

    + Project Leadership

    + Oversee financial aspects of major projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

    + Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, operations, procurement) to ensure timely project delivery.

    + Financial Analysis & Reporting

    + Develop and maintain detailed financial models for project evaluation and performance tracking.

    + Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management and stakeholders.

    + Risk Management

    + Identify financial risks related to project execution and propose mitigation strategies.

    + Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

    + Process Optimization

    + Implement best practices for financial planning and project accounting.

    + Drive improvements in reporting systems and data accuracy.

    + Stakeholder Communication

    + Act as the primary financial liaison for project teams and external partners.

    + Present financial updates and recommendations to leadership.

    Qualifications

    + 7+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in oil & gas or energy sector.

    + Proven track record in project-based financial management.

    + Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

    + Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
