    Description

    The Inventory Specialist oversees inventory accuracy, forecasts demand, and works with cross-functional teams to ensure a continuous supply of products or materials.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform regular cycle counts and comprehensive audits of inventory.

    + Analyze variances and investigate root causes of discrepancies.

    + Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams for inventory planning.

    + Utilize inventory management software to track stock movement and generate reports.

    + Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste or shrinkage.

    + Train staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + 2+ years’ experience in inventory control, supply chain, or a related role.

    + Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

    + Strong analytical, data entry, and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
