• NERC CIP Project Manager

    Summary

    We are seeking an experienced NERC CIP Project Manager to support large IT projects. This role focuses on preparing and overseeing a NERC CIP audit, tracking CIP evidence responses, and ensuring audit readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing security projects, and prior audit experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, and serve as customer interface

    + Track CIP evidence responses and ensure audit readiness

    + Manage technical scope, cost, and schedule of assigned tasks

    + Lead project teams including executives, SMEs, controllers, and schedulers

    + Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables

    + Create project management plans, execute governance reviews, and ensure compliance with PMO standards

    + Manage project budget, track actuals vs. plan, and provide monthly forecasts

    + Deliver high-quality written and verbal communications including status reports and dashboards

    + Monitor project tasks, timelines, milestones, and quality of deliverables

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    + 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager

    + 3+ years managing security projects

    + Previous experience with NERC CIP projects and audits

    + Strong communication skills with senior/executive management

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar tools

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

    + Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and decision-making skills

    •Preferred Qualifications

    + PMP or equivalent certification
