We are looking for a New Factory Project Manager. This position will be based within 180 miles of Roebuck SC or in the Dallas Ft. Worth area.
You’ll make a difference by:
+ Leading and running a new factory project within 180 miles of Roebuck, SC, demonstrating full ownership with minimal management oversight.
+ Developing and maintaining detailed project timelines, budgets, activity lists, risk-mitigation plans, and progress reports for both internal and platform tracking.
+ Coordinating and facilitating communication among internal and external collaborators through regular meetings, documentation, and timely updates on project status, risks, and required decisions.
+ Supporting partners in day-to-day project activities, serving as the primary critical issue point for complex, high-impact, or multi-functional issues.
+ Providing budget summaries, expenditure tracking, and reconciliation support to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
+ Overseeing logistics and delivery coordination for equipment and materials to the project site.
+ Partnering with Operations and Construction teams to support procurement activities and resolve supplier, contractor, or scheduling challenges.
+ Applying industry knowledge to identify risks, delays, and cost impacts; work proactively with equipment manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors, and Siemens groups to mitigate issues.
+ Using strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive practical, effective solutions and ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
+ Upholding all Siemens policies, procedures, and standards throughout project execution.
+ Demonstrating resourcefulness, accountability, results orientation, and effective multi-functional communication to ensure on-time, on-budget project performance.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
+ BS/BA, BS in engineering preferred, related STEM field or equivalent
+ 10+ years of experience with the following:
+ Project leadership in discrete manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, and/or manufacturing of engineered electrical equipment.
+ Excellent organizational skills to store critical company and contractors files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contracts, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents.
+ Demonstrate and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
+ Financial acumen, making data-driven decisions.
+ 5+ years of people leadership.
+ **Willingness to relocate within a yet undetermined area between Chattanooga, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Augusta or in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area.**
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Strong ability to lead and influence timelines and collaborators.
+ PMP certification.
+ Experience leading the start up or relocation of manufacturing plants.
+ Understanding of the manufacturing of power control, distribution and protection solutions for critical power clients.
