The position requires ability to work occasional weekends and holidays as necessary as part of release cycles.
The Work Itself
* Reviews and understands system test requirements, integrated testing activities, and results
* Provides user acceptance testing prior to full production deployments
* Defining the appropriate test to be carried out including the test data to be used
* Liaising with the requirements gathering and software development teams
* Running diagnostic and system testing and presenting the information to the relevant stakeholders
* Interacting with and coordinating test validation, including post-production validation with stakeholders
* Provide a comprehensive approach to defect management i.e. defect clustering, triaging, etc.
* Understanding of various stages of system testing (i.e., performance, integration, regression, functional, etc.)
* Create opportunities to increases efficiency, consistency and value of testing
* Understanding of system environments to optimize testing strategies
The Skills You Bring
* 3+ years developing and analyzing the development of test plans, test scripts, and training manuals for distribution to system end-users for testing required
* Ability to write, modify, and interpret SQL and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server) as part of test execution required
* Experience in agile/communication tools (JIRA, Confluence), process visualization tools (Visio), and test management tools (qTest) preferred
* Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred
* Formal training in the Information Technology field, specifically around application development is highly desirable
* Proficiency in software testing, including functional and regression testing
* Experience in test techniques and programming
* Above-average planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
* Working knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology and processes is strongly desired
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
* Strong customer relationship skills are critical, including strong listening skills a must

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
