Job Description
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager at our client in Minneapolis, MN.
Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who is responsible for leading complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to budget, scope, schedule, risk, and quality targets. This role drives cross-functional execution, manages stakeholder communication, and ensures consistent use of project management methodologies. The Project Manager will monitor performance, resolve issues, guide teams, and transition completed projects into operational readiness.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure project deliverables are clearly defined, strategically aligned, and achievable.
+ Create detailed project plans, including task estimation, scheduling, and interdependency management.
+ Identify required resources and coordinate with sponsors and PMO partners to secure and align talent.
+ Hold team members accountable for meeting project commitments; provide coaching and mentorship as needed.
+ Maintain all project artifacts and follow approved project management methodologies (e.g., CMMi).
+ Track and measure project success metrics, analyzing performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
+ Conduct cost-benefit analyses and recommend solutions that minimize negative trade-offs.
+ Implement corrective actions and manage formal project change requests.
+ Provide consistent stakeholder communication, including progress updates, risks, issues, and action plans.
+ Escalate critical risks or issues to sponsors or steering committees as appropriate.
+ Partner effectively with business units, vendors, technology teams, and PM staff to ensure alignment and adoption of deliverables.
+ Facilitate a smooth transition of the project into day-to-day operations upon completion.

+ Strong ability to navigate political, economic, technological, and organizational factors.
+ Adaptability in changing or ambiguous environments; ability to quickly translate concepts into actionable steps.
+ Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Ability to influence decisions and drive results across diverse stakeholder groups.
+ Experience leading multiple complex projects from design through delivery (senior/executive level).
+ Proficiency with project management tools, methodologies, and CMMi practices.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field—or equivalent experience.
The base range for this contract position is $70.00 - $100.00 per hour, depending on experience; pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
