As a **Scaffold Operations Supervisor,** you’ll perform scaffold erection and dismantle in a safe and professional manner. You will also perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of a variety rental equipment and tools. You’ll continually improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, and help build a profitable location with your leadership, service and maintenance knowledge, and business management.

What you'll do:

+ Recognize and communicate the need for tools, parts, and inventory

+ Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily/job basis

+ Record preventative and ready inspection completion

+ Document parts and labor accurately

+ Checkout, familiarize, and demonstrate a wider array of more complex equipment for customers

+ Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and seldom lifting up to 75 lbs

+ Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Active applicable state class driver’s license

+ 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate

+ Scaffold Erection and Dismantle Competent

+ Must own tools applicable to position

+ Solid verbal and written skills

+ Excellent teamwork and customer service skills

+ Strong knowledge of schematics and diagrams

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
