    Transportation Coordinator Virtual Hiring Event -** **December 10th, 2025

     

    This is a great opportunity to meet our **Poland Spring® Maine Spring Water** Transportation Operations Team!

     

    **Location:** Poland, ME

    **Pay:** $24.62/hour

    Multiple Shift Schedules Available:

    + Monday - Friday: 7 AM - 3 PM, 8 AM - 4 PM, or 11 AM - 7 PM EST

    + Weekend/holiday availability required

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities Overview

    + **Load Coverage & Dispatch:** Execute TMS route guides, manual coverage, spot auctions, and follow up on late loads.

    + **Docking & Scheduling:** Manage docking in TMS, train carriers, and resolve pickup issues.

    + **Transportation Management:** Coordinate freight across truckload, LTL, and intermodal; optimize routing using TMS.

    + **Communication & Issue Resolution:** Work with carriers and internal teams to resolve delays in real time.

    + **Data & Continuous Improvement:** Analyze KPIs, track trends, and support efficiency initiatives.

    + **Administrative:** Maintain after-hours carrier contact list and assist with additional duties.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    + HS diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred, but not required)

    + 1–2 years in logistics or transportation operations

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/TMS experience is required

    + Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

    + Ability to multitask and work independently

     

    Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.
