    About the role

     

    As an **Enterprise Architect** , you will make an impact by defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and best practices for the pharma industry, with a focus on commercial and patient service domains. You will be a valued member of the consulting team and work collaboratively with solution architects, developers, project teams, and clients.

    In this role, you will:

    + Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and best practices for the pharma industry, focusing on commercial and patient service domains.

    + Analyze the current state of enterprise architecture, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

    + Develop and communicate the enterprise architecture roadmap and transition plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.

    + Provide guidance to solution architects, developers, and project teams on designing and implementing solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture standards.

    + Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance enterprise architecture and support business needs.

     

    Working arrangements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Teaneck, New Jersey

    What you need to be considered

    + 15+ years of experience in a DevOps environment with expertise in infrastructure-as-code and software/application development.

    + 5+ years of expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCE, OpenStack, VMWare, etc.) and Linux/Windows operating systems.

    + Hands-on experience with design and implementation work to get projects off the ground and drive improvements to existing infrastructure.

    + Experience as an Engagement Lead, managing teams for commercial projects, ensuring effective negotiations, solution delivery, governance, profitability, and client satisfaction.

    + Experience building CI/CD pipelines.

    + Experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt) and infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef Provisioning).

    + Experience with AWS, Docker containers, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Mesosphere, OpenShift, etc.).

    + Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading teams and communicating effectively at all organizational levels.

    + Experience working in client-facing roles, leading engagements, and managing teams and outcomes.

    + Deep understanding of DevOps philosophy and Agile methods.

    + Ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate routine tasks.

    + Experience with the full software delivery lifecycle.

    + Consulting experience highly preferred.

    + Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between $122,400 - $194,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
