    JOB SUMMARY:

    This is a Senior Program Analyst position in the Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program Operational Procedures and Training (OPT) process, reporting to the Intra-Departmental Projects Administrator. It is a highly responsible position that will serve as Process Owner and Project Lead for Procedures and Training initiatives, coordinate project activities, act as Editor supporting the procedures and training teams’ publications and manage the process’ operational plan and reports. Duties also include providing independent and complex consultative functions, researching, and recommending methods of implementing changes and improving processes.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    + Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.

    + Two years of experience leading teams and managing projects with deadlines.

    + Two years of experience researching and analyzing information and making recommendations for process improvements.

    + Two years of experience communicating with diverse audiences through a variety of methods.

    + Three years of experience writing technical documents, procedures, or other instructional material in a work environment. *

    + Three years of experience proofreading, editing and providing quality assurance of other’s written material in a work environment. *

    + Two years of experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing reports.

    SUBSTITUTIONS:

    + A degree in English, Linguistics, Writing, Communications or similar may substitute for the requirements on a year per year basis*

    PREFERENCES:

    + Two years of experience teaching, instructing or coaching others.

    + One year of project management experience or project management certification.

    + Two years of experience in the Child Support Program.

    SPECIAL NOTES:

    + There is no skills verification test, however there is a work sample exercise immediately following the interview. Candidates will be provided the details when they are invited for an interview

    + The applicant selection criteria (ASC) screening tool has been administratively approved. Those applicants who have met the minimum qualifications and with the greatest points accumulated via the ASC scoring will be selected for interview

    + This position is part-time telework eligible.

     

    SALARY: $57,457.56 - $80,595.72.
