    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    **Position Title:** Maintenance Planner

    **Location:** Bedford, NH

    **Department:** Engineering

    **Reporting To:** Project Engineer

    **Responsible For (Staff):** No

     

    The Maintenance Planner leads efforts to improve work force productivity, increase the efficiency/quality of maintenance work, and lead teams in preparation of maintenance work to achieve a high degree of quality completion for planned work.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Interacts with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and managers to identify key criteria to aid in the scheduling of maintenance work.

    + Prioritization of work packages, plan resource commitments, verifying parts needed for maintenance work.

    + Manage tracking open work requests and work packages that have been planned and are awaiting scheduling.

    + Maintain CMMS database master data including updates to maintenance plans and spare parts requirements.

    + Develops and maintains tracking spreadsheets to provide performance metrics and trend analysis of the maintenance organization.

    + Prepares, sends, and updates critical maintenance scheduling communications to team members.

    + Conduct meetings related to both planning and scheduling to ensure good communication within team.

    + Highly skilled in prioritizing assignments and establishing effective working relationships.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required:

    + High School diploma or GED required; relevant technical or trade experience preferred.

    + 2–5+ years of relevant experience in maintenance planning; preferably in a cGMP / pharmaceutical setting

    + Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., MAXIMO, SAP, BMRAM)

    + Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, or similar continuous improvement methodologies

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    + Results-driven with a high commitment to quality and compliance

    Special Demands:

    + Valid driver’s license required

    + Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
