Join our team as a Senior Revenue Accountant, where you will play a pivotal role in managing complex deals across diverse revenue streams. Based at our headquarters in Santa Clara, California, you’ll lead the charge on ensuring integrity and compliance in revenue recognition for Enterprise & Ecommerce businesses. In this dynamic position, you'll drive automation and process improvement initiatives, continuously optimizing systems and workflows for efficiency and accuracy. You’ll also be responsible for managing custom invoicing for unique customer arrangements, providing creative solutions and maintaining audit-ready records. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver robust and actionable financial insights that power effective decision-making and support our growth.

What you’ll be doing:

+ Oversee ecommerce and cloud marketplace revenue streams including reconciliation automation and process scaling.

+ Develop and manage automated, cross-platform validations between revenue sub-ledgers, billing platforms, and the general ledger.

+ Prepare and track invoices for certain customer arrangements including non-recurring engineering (NRE), royalty, and revenue share contracts maintaining clear documentation and audit readiness.

+ Utilize rule-based automation to proactively detect anomalies, prevent discrepancies, and support fast remediation.

+ Oversee revenue accounting integration for new acquisitions.

+ Collaborate across teams to support and advance automation initiatives, system enhancements, and processes that drive scalability and efficiency in revenue accounting for new business offerings.

+ Lead and participate in testing for revenue system enhancements to ensure new features support compliance and data integrity.

+ Support other ad hoc projects in the Revenue Accounting team.

+ Stay current with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and standard processes.

What we need to see:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance; active CPA license.

+ 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting or a related field.

+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles.

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

+ Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, financial reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

+ Experience with SAP (SD, FI and RAR modules) and other multiple element accounting systems is a plus.

+ Strong knowledge of Power BI, Databricks and Alteryx.

+ Working knowledge of BI/BW and SQL.

+ Demonstration of building AI-powered solutions

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate with all levels within the organization. Experience collaborating across a large organization to influence and inspire change.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 184,000 USD.
