    Overview

Intuit is a global platform company that is on a mission to power prosperity around the world for consumers, small businesses and the self-employed. Across our leading brands – Turbo Tax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp – Intuit serves over 100M customers and is one of the few companies in the world to have both a thriving consumer and small business ecosystem. Intuit is known for its innovation track record, customer centricity, and its consistent recognition as a top place to work.

The Consumer Group (CG) is transforming its Product Management function to drive innovation with velocity, customer-centricity, and data-informed strategic bets. Within Consumer Group, TurboTax is a >$4.9B business today, yet the opportunity still ahead of us is much larger. Although we deliver a category-leading online DIY tax software for nearly 40M filers, there are still 85M American consumers who spend too much time and money on inefficient and expensive tax prep services. In joining the Consumer Group, you would have the opportunity to shape the future of how tens of millions of people get their biggest paycheck of the year — their tax refund.

The TurboTax Growth team is focused on our existing and prospective customers’ experience from landing pages through login and product selection. We create intuitive and engaging experiences powered by personalization algorithms that optimize the creative, offers, and onboarding flow for each visitor.

We’re seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead Returning Customer Onboarding for TurboTax. Returning customers are the foundation of our business: more than 75% of TurboTax Online customers come back every year. When they do, we want them to feel recognized and confident that TurboTax can handle whatever’s new in their life. Whether they’ve had a child, moved states, or bought their first house, these moments often trigger uncertainty. The right onboarding experience and tailored offers can turn that uncertainty into renewed trust and loyalty.

    Responsibilities

As Senior Staff Product Manager, you’ll drive business growth through conversion rate optimization, experimentation, personalization and AI-driven experiences. Success in this role requires both deep customer empathy and advanced ML product management experience to drive our recommendation models and personalized experiences. You’ll identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities, develop a clear path to execution, and inspire cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that fuel Intuit’s continued leadership. This role will require partnership with multiple internal organizations including our other TurboTax PM teams, Engineering, Design, AI & Data Science, Marketing, Finance and Data platform teams.

    In this role, you will:

+ Define and lead the product vision and strategy to grow customer retention and business performance.

+ Apply AI and machine learning to personalize experiences and improve key funnel metrics.

+ Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing to deliver measurable customer and financial outcomes.

+ Mentor other product managers as a senior member of the PM team

    Qualifications

+ 5+ years leading growth or funnel optimization initiatives, including 3+ years in Product Management driving experimentation and personalization.

+ 2+ years applying machine learning to improve acquisition, conversion, or personalization.

+ Deep experience with web and mobile-first customer experiences, ideally in mass market (20+ million monthly uniques), consumer-facing products.

+ Deep customer obsession and strong track record delivering customer value through product innovation inspired by direct customer observations and quantitative data.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels. Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional teams.

+ Strong technical curiosity and a bias for experimentation. You actively explore emerging AI tools to accelerate product innovation.
