In This Role, You’ll:

+ Perform daily transportation duties while serving as a lead resource for the driver team.

+ Assist with scheduling, route coverage, and shift coordination to support smooth operations.

+ Support the Driver Supervisor/Transportation Manager in monitoring performance, addressing concerns, and reinforcing company policies.

+ Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance needs promptly. Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport and deliver products, including managing backhauls.

+ Train, mentor, and support new drivers, reinforcing safety and service standards.

+ Act as the first point of escalation for on-route issues, ensuring timely communication with dispatch and leadership.

+ Promote and model a culture of safety, compliance, and teamwork across the driver group

What You’ll Bring:

+ A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience

+ Ability to lift 5–75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)

+ Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers

+ Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation

+ Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting:

+ Must be available fornights, weekends, and holidays

+ All trailers equipped withlift gates - no ramps

+ Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75+ lbs

Pay & Benefits:

+ Starting pay: $28.00/hour

+ Weekly pay (every Friday)
