ABOUT THE JOB
Golden State Foods is seeking an Associate Executive Recruiter with a deep passion for sourcing, attracting, and securing top-tier talent for senior-level positions for our transportation and logistics business – (Quality Custom Distribution – QCD). This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future leadership of our organization by bringing in exceptional leaders to propel our business forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in salaried / exempt recruitment, outstanding relationship-building abilities, and understand the need to act with a sense of urgency. While the primary focus is on exempt roles, this position is perfect for a collaborative team player who is ready to assist with recruitment efforts at all levels as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
+ Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers for exempt level roles.
+ Partner with senior leadership and HR teams to understand the hiring needs and assist in developing tailored recruitment strategies.
+ Build and maintain a strong network of relevant talent across the foodservice, logistics and related industries.
+ Manage relationships with external search firms and recruitment partners when necessary.
+ Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
+ Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights on market trends, compensation, and best practices in recruitment.
+ Uphold Golden State Foods' values and commitment to diversity and inclusion in all recruitment activities
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Education/Certification:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
Experience:
+ 5+ years in high touch salaried recruitment
+ Internal corporate hiring recruitment experience required;
+ Agency recruitment experience preferred.
+ Extensive experience recruiting exempt roles
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
+ High level of discretion and professionalism
+ Ability to act with a sense of urgency to ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
