    We are hiring staff in Waterbury to work as a Parking Ambassador at a busy medical entrance.

     

    The ideal applicant will be available for 14 hours a week, 1:30pm-8:30pm weekends.

     

    We would like staff to have the flexibility to help with other shifts as well.

     

    Pay: $18.38 /hour to start.

    General purpose – The primary purpose of this position is to greet and assist customers with parking, and be a visible representative of the establishment we provide services for. The Parking Ambassador will ensure the entrance lane to the hospital is kept clear of vehicles to allow emergency access. The Ambassador will direct incoming vehicles to available parking, and report any issues or suspicious behavior to Security.

    Physical Demands

    * Standing for the duration of your shift

    * Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers' vehicles)

    * Communicate effectively in English with customers and coworkers

     

    Work environment – Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees' work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.
