    Job Description

    We are seeking a experienced Metal Fabrication Technician to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

     

    The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and modifying metal parts and components according to schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans.

     

    The Metal Fabrication Technician will operate a variety of metal fabrication equipment to cut, bend, and form sheet metal stock or parts, and perform various finishing operations.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field (e.g. metal fabrication, machining) preferred

    **Experience:** 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field; experience with metal fabrication equipment and techniques required

    + Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform fabrication, assembly, and modification tasks

    + Operate metal fabrication equipment such as punch press, shears, rollers, power brakes, and saws to cut, bend, and form sheet metal stock or parts

    + Perform paint touch-up, part marking, file and debur operations as required

    + Match drill, rivet, and install hardware as needed

    + Ensure work is in adherence to part design and allowed tolerances

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Manual Machining Experience

    + Waterjet

    + CNC miling

    + Defense experience

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $52955 - $84728

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
